For many the U.S. can be the land of opportunity, which is why so many foreign individuals and businesses choose to invest in the U.S.

While investing in the U.S. can be very lucrative, you have to be mindful of the tax implications of doing so. Many foreign investors are quick to invest without first understanding the tax consequences, and planning for them accordingly. With proper planning the tax consequences can often be mitigated or eliminated; however, without proper planning the tax consequences can be detrimental.

Foreign investors need to be mindful of U.S. income taxes, withholding taxes, FIRPTA, as well as estate and gift taxes.

In this webinar we will discuss the various types of taxes that apply to foreign investors in the U.S. We will also discuss some strategies for mitigating the U.S. tax impact of foreign investment.

There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
